Half marathon: done :-)

We did it!!!

This picture was obviously before the race, when it was all said and done we didn’t get a group pic. We might have been just a little worn out, stinky and sweaty!!

It was a fun race, I learned a lot and have in mind what to do different next time.

While the race is 13.1 miles I actually ended up running more than that. Believe me when I say I wanted to stop running when my watch said 13.1, but I continued onto the finish line and crossed in 2 hours and 6 minutes :-)!

There were more hills than Lubbock (Lubbock does not have any hills) and it was a lot warmer than we have been training in 80>50. So I know my body was not used to that.

There were around 20,000 runners and I am so proud of all of them!

Thanks to all my friends and family for support and Holly and Corey for being my training and running buddies!!!
